Terms of Service
Last updated 17 September 2026
These terms apply when you use the Metro Hub app or metrohub.ai. Using Metro Hub means you accept them.
1. Who can use Metro Hub
Metro Hub is invite-only. Your community's board or property manager invites you, and you join with your email address and the code they send. You must be 13 or older, and you must be a resident, owner or authorised representative of a home in that community. Your access ends when your community says it does — for example when you move out.
Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@metrohub.ai if you think someone else has access to it.
2. What your community controls
Your board or manager decides who is a member, what documents are published, who may read them, and what is posted on behalf of the community. Metro Hub provides the software; it does not run your community, set your rules, or take a side in a dispute between you and your board.
Documents in the app — bylaws, CC&Rs, minutes, notices — belong to your community and are published by it. If a document is wrong or out of date, that is a matter for your board.
3. What you post
You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to store and display it to your community so the app can work.
Do not post:
- anything unlawful, harassing, threatening, or hateful toward a neighbour;
- someone else's personal information without their consent;
- content you do not have the right to share;
- anything intended to disrupt the service or gain access you were not given.
Your board can moderate and remove content in its community. We can remove content or suspend an account that breaks these terms.
4. Ask Metro
Ask Metro generates answers with an AI model, based on your community's documents. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Every answer shows the document it came from — read the source before you rely on it. Ask Metro is not legal advice, and an answer from it is not a decision by your board. Where an answer and the underlying document disagree, the document governs.
5. Bookings and payments
Amenity availability, fees, cancellation windows and refunds are set by your community, not by us. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms; we never hold your card details. A refund is your community's decision — ask your board or manager.
6. Availability
We work to keep Metro Hub running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service for your community, we will give reasonable notice so your board can retrieve its documents.
Metro Hub is not an emergency service. For an emergency, call the appropriate emergency number — do not file a work order.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. It is permanent. See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and what may remain as a community record.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Metro Hub is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a decision your community made using the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for a significant change, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Metro Hub after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
